New Summer Colors
I’ve been making these big, round, colorful vases for a few months. I paint the glazes on as an underglaze and after they have been fired twice, I really don’t know what colors I’ll get in the end. I’m looking for unexpected color combinations in my day to day life and then putting them on these guys. Click here if to go to the Perch! store.

Red Hook!
My beloved waterfront neighborhood. I just moved the ceramics studio from Pier 41, which flooded in Hurricane Sandy, down the street to Red Hook Studios on Richards Street.
Inspiration: Reds & Oranges
East German vase, my candle, frame by Art Department, Candle Ball with state of Texas on it, wood skyline by Phil Sachs, orangina bottle, glass bust bottle bought at the Flea, orange piggy bank from the Perch archives, vintage candlesticks & BOOKS (color coordinated).

Hanging Letter Light
In my bedroom. The piece of wood on the wall is a remnant of a mirror frame I made for a friend many years ago. It has a really awesome grain pattern on it from cutting chunks out. It’s moved with me to many apartments.
